As of a few weeks ago, I was accepted into the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida. I decided to create this blog in order to keep friends and family up-to-date on my adventures at Disney! Don't forget to check back frequently to see what's new with my Disney College Experience!!
The Disney College Program provides college credited internships for many different roles throughout Disney World. The program also provides apartment style housing for each of their interns, free admission to any Disney park, and various dicounts for friends and family throughout Disney World. I will be working in the Main Enterance Operations department at one of the parks (don't know which one until I arrive) basically, working with ticket holders, turnstiles, etc. I am still working out the details of this new adventure, and will be sure to update as I get more information, but I am very excited for what's to come.
I have always, always dreamt of one day working at Disney World. I have been obsessed with the place since the first time I stepped through the turnstiles (when I was six years old). It is so magical, happy, and there is always so much excitement. I never thought there would actually be a point in my life that I would be able to live up to even one of my dreams. I can now say that I was completely wrong, and I am thrilled that I am finally taking my first steps in the direction of my always dreamt of successful future!!
